And the weekend stops here.

In reverse chronological order, lessons of the past few days.

1. If the sound card is broke, get another one. Unscrewing and screwing on other parts won’t help one bit. Also, ancient CD players are a miracle to behold actually playing music, bar all the skipping.
2. You will never get anywhere on time if you keep biting down on earphones. Really. Or if you keep talking about dark abandoned corners.
3. Sound waves vibrate better through solids than through air. And better through wooden floorboards than walls.
4. In the most pressing of times, Emergency Exit/Escape Parachute Sisters will find each other if they were two needles hidden in two different haystacks in a field of 42 haystacks, blindfolded. And rusty. And when they do, they will drink coffee together, however bland the brew. And all will be forgiven, even the mint and tiramisu ice-cream MMS.
5. Chicken wings and inasal taste better with spicy vinegar in ornamental bottles, eaten in the basement of Makati Cinema Square. With name-that-tune-in-three-fingerplucks guitar music in the background.
6. Petron is Petron and Shell is Shell. Shell can never be Petron, and vice-versa, except in a movie with sloppy continuity, where Timog is also Kamuning.

In U2-related news (Vital information! For your everyday life!) I finally finally heard Strung Out On U2 – at our AutoBoto seminar. Courtesy of Lester, Ian and Ed’s funnier weirder Pisay batchmate. And Pinky, my CreatingSkies presenter-cohort turned out to be a violin student.

Wow. My fandoms *are* taking over my life.
