inklingfair Hello, I’m still here. Just catching my breath.
I feel like March and April just zipped by, even if it felt like SG was eons ago. Since then, we’ve gone to Yoki’s Farm with the family and the team, biked (and got lost off-road) in Cavite, I witnessed Joanna’s wedding at the Dream Center, accompanied Daniel to his cranial MRI (he’s okay, says his doctor, and he’s speaking in 2-3 word phrases now, hurray), we attended Luis and Aitana’s engagement, I flew to Bangkok for another digital rights conference (made some good friends there, to my astonishment) and wandered around alone, held a workshop with the AV people, went to the Easter vigil, rediscovered my Charity Lane DVD stash thanks to CJ (hi again Brian Eno and Lilith Fair), went to an EXO cafe with Josh after he recovered from COVID, spent a weekend with the family plus Mom, Pops, Nanay and Ian in a beautiful seaside home near Vigan, biked to BGC for a team off-site then to QC during a heatwave, then a Move It back to BGC for Carol’s despedida and tita drinks in the club.
Whew. I think that ought to justify me vegetating for the rest of 2023, right? But there are piles of things to be written and workshops to organize and people I ought to spend more time with.

Fandom-wise, we had the 11th EXO debut anniversary fanmeet. I successfully resisted buying Beyond Live tickets, go me! I just watched clips online, and it was nice to see them all happy and playing silly variety show games. I did get a ticket for Baekhyun’s overpass concert, and today’s the ticket selling for Sechan’s fancon. Next month, Sehun has a melo school drama coming up.
There’s been weekly Kyungsoo stuff thanks to No Math School Trip, and I’m getting hungry just thinking of the abura soba they made. If food will be my main criteria for our next trip, I hope Josh and I get to visit Japan. But for now, there’s tuna sashimi in the ref and I ought to get up to thaw it.
